The hexagon on the right of the logo is made to look like a cube, and features a top, front and side view of the human brain.
The Australian Brain Bee Challenge is a competition for high school students to learn about the brain and neuroscience research.
The competition was rebranded with a new logo and a honeycomb supporting pattern, which pays a subtle homage to the previous brand that featured a bee drawing.
The hexagon structure of the logo was designed to match the support pattern, as well as to include an isometric of the three standard anatomical views of the human brain: superior, coronal, and sagittal.
Variations of the honeycomb pattern
Customised name tags for students in each competitive group, which are named after regions of the brain.
